Description of relevant skills and professional knowledge of the main representative : The head of KND KMR "MKDC" - a quality manager, candidate of medical sciences, Honored Doctor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a good organizer and manager of health care. He has extensive practical experience as a chief physician of the Children's Hospital (2009-2011), pediatric freelance neurologist of the Road Clinical Hospital of Dnepropetrovsk (2002-2009), has experience in the treatment of auditory nerve neuritis in children.

Project description : The aim of the project "World of Hearing" is the prevention of sensorineural hearing loss in children and adults. Early screening for the diagnosis of middle and inner ear diseases in newborns, children and adults will help. For this purpose it is necessary to provide audiological equipment to the office of the deaf and dumb city diagnostic consultant center, ie to purchase the following equipment:
- Impedance meter " RESONANCE " R 16 M in the amount of 1 piece, total cost - UAH 129,150.00. - Portable screening audiometer " RESONANCE " R 17 A in the amount of 1 piece, total cost - UAH 90,450.00. - Portable thermal printer for printing results in the amount of 1 piece, total cost - UAH 14,000.00. The total cost is: UAH 233,600.00. (7254.6 EUR at the rate - 72.5% of the total project amount). The balance - 2745.4 EUR (27.5%) will be used for repair work in the specialist's office. |

Rationale for the project : The implementation of the project "World of Hearing" will primarily benefit the children of the city of Kamyanske. Only out of 160 children of our city examined by a deaf-mute in 2019 - 67 children were diagnosed with hearing loss. These children are registered with a deaf doctor. There are 111 hearing-impaired adults in the city. The prospects of the project are that after the screening diagnosis and identifying the number of patients with hearing loss, it is possible to select and subsequently purchase hearing aids, especially for the contingent of patients who still hear a little.
